Erin is located just to the north of Halton Hills and to the west of Caledon.  It is comprised of 2 urban centres - Erin and Hillsburgh with a population of just under 12,000.  It is surrounded by farmlands &  scenic natural areas & is located at the headwaters of the Grand River & Credit River.
The village of Erin is a destination point for those looking to "experience the charm" of it's welcoming & vibrant main street.  Visitors can treat themselves to a meal or coffee at one of several cafes, restaurants or tea rooms; hunt for art & antiques; find that special outfit or explore one of the many specialty shops. 

Erin village has a great sense of community spirit & offers many local Festivals & Events including the Erin Fall Fair (Thanksgiving Weekend), Annual Winter Wonderland & Tree Lighting (November), Quilt festival (April), Busker's Festival (July) and the Farmer's Market (Friday Evenings in the Summer).  The Upper Credit Humane Society is valued member of the community and make every effort to ensure that no animals will be used for research or euthanized unnecessarily.

Both Erin and Hillsburgh are located in Wellington county & are a short commute to Orangeville, Brampton, Georgetown, Mississauga & Toronto.
