The Town of GEORGETOWN ONTARIOwas established in the mid 1800's and was named after George Kennedy who was one of the initial settlers in the area. It is a community in the Town of Halton Hillsand is located just north of the 401, approximately 60 Km from Toronto. Georgetown with a population of approx 39,000, is the largest of the communities that make up the Town of Halton Hills which also includes Acton, Glen Williams, Norval and Stewarttown.

THE PARK AREA: One of Georgetown's oldest neighbourhoods this well established & much sought after area is a short stroll to the Fairgrounds and the Olde Downtown core offering quaint Shops, Boutiques, Restaurants, Library and The George Elliott Theatre. GEORGETOWN SOUTH: In 1989 Georgetown South was established by various Builders including Fernbrook, Great Gulf Homes, Canada Homes, Remington, Double Oak, Tribute Homes and over the years, has seen continued but limited growth. One of the more recent developments was the Halton Hills Village Mall providing a Metro, Liquour Store, Bank, Child Care, Restaurants & Shops and more.
ARBOUR GLEN: Surrounded by Woodlot & Greenspace this quiet enclave of Mattamy built homes is a short walk to the Olde Downtown Core
CACHET HILLS: Located between Georgetown and Glen Williams this quiet neighbourhood built by Cachet Homes offers Old Ontario Style Homes with front porches and balconies and the area itself provides a wonderful community park and a butts a hiking trail system from which you can hook up to the Bruce Trail.
GLEN WILLIAMS:Is a small Hamlet and the Credit River Runs through it. The Main Street is home to the Glen Oven Bakery, Copper Kettle Pub, Reeve & Clarke Bookstore, The Williams Mill which is home to various artisans & soon a restaurant & don't forget the Beaumont Mill Antiques & Collectables Market. You will find tree lined streets of older homes as well as the newer developments which include Meadows of the Glen & Bishops Court.
CENTRAL AREA / GO TRAIN:Is an established area of Georgetown & here you will find Tree Lined Streets with Century Homes & another section with mostly bungalows which were built in the mid 1950's. Homes are a short walking distance to the Go Train as well as the Downtown Core with Boutiques, Restaurants, Theatre & Farmers' Market.
